Facebook began inserting advertisements directly into users' news feeds

There won't be a lot of ads--just one per day--but they will be unsolicited. Instead of being on the right hand side of the page and marked "sponsored," they will appear randomly within users' news feeds and be labeled "featured."

According to Facebook's Help Center, "Businesses can pay to feature a post so there's a better chance you'll notice it." As an example, the Help Center writes, "Say you like your gym's Facebook Page. Some friends see the story in their news feeds, others may miss it. The owner of the gym can pay to feature the story so your friends are more likely to see it."
This is pretty much the way the "sponsored" stories work, but those are much easier to distinguish since they're not embedded in the news feed.

TATA PIXEL car

TATA PIXEL

Tata has unveiled Pixel city car concept at the Delhi Auto expo and it is definitely the star at Tata’s pavilion.

The Tata Pixel, with ‘Zero Turn’ drive and an innovative diamond-shaped door system, is a new city car concept for Europe from Tata Motors. Based on the Tata Nano, the Pixel – at just over three metres in length – is the most package efficient four-seater in the world, comfortably accommodating four adults, unlike a typical city car which is either a two-seater or can accommodate two adults and two children only.
The Tata Pixel’s ability to manoeuvre and park in the tightest of spaces is made possible by its Zero Turn toroidal traction-drive Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT). This highly efficient, cost-effective system assists rotation of the outer rear wheel forwards and the inner rear wheel backwards during low-speed manoeuvres, while the front wheels turn at acute angles. The result is a turning circle radius of just 2.6 metres. The glass area on the scissor doors provides excellent visibility even in the most extreme turning manoeuvre.
The 'scissor' doors rotate upwards from the front to allow all four passengers to effortlessly enter or exit the Tata Pixel, even in the tightest of spaces, while the doors' large glass area provides excellent visibility.
A forward sweeping roofline, with minimal front and rear overhangs, accentuates the youthful styling, while the window graphic features an interchangeable island that can be used to change the exterior appearance whenever desired.
The Tata Pixel also introduces “My Tata Connect” -- the first integrated human-machine interface (HMI) concept from Tata Motors for its new generation programmes. “My Tata Connect” enables seamless integration of the user’s smartphone or tablet with the vehicle’s infotainment system and also allows controlling key functions of the car. This provides a customised, user friendly, all-in-one touch screen display, while also allowing the driver to remain seamlessly connected to the external world in much the same way as they would be when at home or in the office, istening to favourite songs, internet news and sport or stock updates. In addition to serving as the infotainment display when docked in the instrument panel, the tablet also allows temperature, ventilation and air-conditioning settings to be adjusted through its touch screen, as well as displaying information on the vehicle's performance.
A 1.2 litre three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, positioned at the rear of the Tata Pixel, gives lively performance. The engine is a low-friction design, featuring variable coolant and oil pump and rapid warm-up technologies. With optimised aerodynamic drag, low rolling-resistance tyres, stop-start technology, and intelligent battery charging, the Tata Pixel returns European combined cycle (NEDC) fuel economy of 3.4 l/100km and CO2 emissions of just 89g/km.

SOMALIA IS DYING

IF U HAVE HEART THEN JUST SHARE IT. MEDIA HAS NO BENIFIT THAT'S WHY THEY REMAIN SILENT.BUT ITS NOT THE CASE WITH US WE MUST BREAKE SILIENCE.SIMPLE HELP WE COULD DO .

The United Nations says that 250,000 Somalis are suffering from famine in three regions including Mogadishu, a fact that Abdiweli Mohammed Ali, who leads Somalia’s officially recognised government, has denied.
"I don’t believe there’s a famine in Mogadishu. Absolutely no," he told The Daily Telegraph. "You know the aid agencies became an entrenched interest group and they say all kind of things that they want to say.”
Mr Ali leads a government that depends almost completely on outside donations. Our reporter visited a UN feeding centre in the city, where he found hundreds of starving women with their children seeking food.
Despite the prime minister's claims, Britain today announced it will be providing more than 9,000 tonnes of food supplies and medicines to drought-ravaged regions in the Horn of Africa

SAMSUNG GALAXY Y DUOS

Samsung introduced a couple of new Android-powered dual SIM smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos. These are two entry-level smartphones, designed to meet the needs of emerging markets i.e especially for youngsters. Well, here we are going to discuss about the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos, which is a dual SIM version of Samsung Galaxy Y. This is a full touch handset with 3.14-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display. It runs on Android v2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, supports microSD card of up to 32GB, 512MB ROM, and 384MB RAM. Just have a look on the below features list to grab more about the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos.

Dual SIM - Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Pro Duos announced

Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Pro Duos

Samsung introduced a couple of new Android-running smartphones with support for two SIM slots each. The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Samsung Galaxy Y Pro Duos are entry-level offerings, designed to cater for the needs of emerging markets
Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Pro. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread handsets look pretty much identical to some devices Samsung had announced over the summer, except these ones have a second SIM card slot in them. Otherwise, the devices are still fairly entry-level; the all-touch Duos has a 3.14-inch 240 x 320 touchscreen, 832 MHz processor, and 3 megapixel camera, while the QWERTY keyboard-bearing Pro Duos has a smaller 2.6-inch screen.
I’m a fan of Samsung’s new naming strategy. Their Galaxy Y devices will all be the most basic, affordable handsets they offer, and knowing that means you already have a good idea of what to expect from the name alone. Climbing the ladder, are M, W, R, and finally the S-class phones we all know and love.
Russia will be picking up these two handsets first, with rollouts to Europe, Latin America, Southwest Asia, Middle East and Africa fortchcoming. Of course, the dual-SIM thing isn’t really viable here in North America, what with CDMA still being alive and well in the U.S., but I could see it working in Canada if you regularly switched between WIND and Mobilicity, depending on who had the better offer on any given month.
You can find more details on the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos here, or the Galaxy Y Pro Duos
